Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham and Vic Johnson are Sammy & The Circle. If you want to talk about a well rounded rock show, this was it. Sammy and the boys jammed some of Hagar's greatest tunes and ripped through four Led Zeppelin tracks, Good Times Bad Times, Whole Lotta Love, When The Levee Breaks and Rock & Roll. The show clocked in at about 90 minutes with a 15 song set list and included what seemed like endless autographs as Sammy signed just about everything placed in front of him while on stage...except for that one bald guy's head. He didn't sign that.

Billy Joel brought his hits and more to a practically sold out crowd at Toyota Center. With a back catalog of over 40 years worth of great music Billy Joel played a set that included 30 songs. He even played a few covers including, Rock Around The Clock, Pretty Woman, Highway To Hell (yes AC/DC,) ZZ Top's Tush and Cream's Crossroads. Fans were treated to a great night of music.

On a rainy Sunday night, nineties rock ruled at the House of Blues in Houston, TX. Alternative rockers, Soul Asylum played a raucous set to an intimate crowd. Soul Asylum came out in a blaze of guitars and lots of activity on stage including Dave Pirner parading around with band mates. The show was well worth the price of admission as Soul Asylum delivered the sonic goods. Cowpunk and alternative rockers, The Meat Puppets opened up the show with their twangy and technical guitar work. It might have been a rainy night but it was definitely rocking.
