Former Creed, and current Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti rolled into town with his shiny new metal band Tremonti. Mark is no stranger to the Music business as his award winning music career with Creed and Alter Bridge has forged him in the fires of hard work and success. Stepping out on his own was the next logical step in his evolution as an artist. Mark is not only providing the crunchy rhythm and tasty lead guitar riffs for this new band. He is also fronting a band for the first time in his professional career. Mark has provided solid background vocals throughout his career, but has never taken on such a huge task. He pulls it off with ease and throws his hat in the ring for best new metal band of the year.

Wilson opened the show for co-headliners Tremonti and Trivium.

Van Halen makes a stop in H-Town for the first in three years for their North America Summer/Fall 2015 Tour. The David Lee Roth fronted band last visited in 2012 to support their “A Different Kind of Truth” album. 2012 was the first time Houston Van Halen fans had seen Diamond Dave fronting the rock behemoth since the year 2008. Before that the last stop in Houston for a DLR fronted VH was the year 1984. Let that sink in for a minute.

Houston favorite Cheap Trick made what seems like their annual visit to House of Blues Houston. A sold out crowd danced and sang during the bands seventeen song setlist. With a further three song encore leaving the crowd thoroughly spent and satisfied.
